An endoscopy revealed a large tumor in the stomach, which is currently occupying space goes into the stomach, and said his discomfort when eating or drinking. Ultrasound showed the mass, but without visible mass distribution over the stomach (I think). I had a biopsy and CT and are looking forward to the results of next week. He has a hx of ulcers of the stomach, the only ...

I'm obviously very concerned that this may be malicious. If you or know someone who had malignant or benign, with signs or symptoms like, please share your thoughts. I pray and hope it is benign. Thank you!

  1. My father is suffering from stomach cancer 5 years ago. It's called GIST. Doctors recommended surgery, but our family decided to go to the Mayo Clinic. At this time, an experimental drug is used for this type of cancer and was given to my father. It's called Gleevec. (It is now approved by the FDA). There were 5 tumors were some of the size of a grapefruit. They are now almost non-existent. No surgery was necessary and was told that this cancer should not be treated surgically. Hope this helps.
